LAKELAND, Fla. – A total of 20 masseuses face prostitution-related charges following a sting operation at 12 massage parlors around the world. Polk Countyaccording Sheriff Grady Judd.

The sheriff’s office said detectives visited businesses in the Davenport, Dundee, Lakeland and Winter Haven areas on Monday and Tuesday, seeking to “purchase legal massages from licensed massage therapists.”

During the detectives’ visits, 20 of the therapists offered sexual acts in exchange for money, PCSO said.

Agents also arrested the 21st person, Xiu Lin, on charges of interfering with one of the prostitution-related arrests.

“We want our communities to be safe and free from illegal activities and criminals who prey on people,” Judd said in a statement. “These arrests are part of our ongoing efforts to hold those who break the law accountable. We are focused on keeping our neighborhoods safe and will continue to crack down on businesses that operate outside the law.”
