The Dragon Ball universe is no stranger to epic battles, but the latest Dragon Ball Daima trailer appears to be setting the stage for something bigger, bolder, and possibly more chaotic than ever. In this new chapter, Goku, Kaioshin and Glorio embark on an adventure in the mysterious and dangerous Demon Realm, trying to put an end to the havoc caused by the new demon king, Gomah. However, there’s a twist: Goku and his companions have been shrunken down to the size of first graders, making even the simplest tasks a challenge. Now, fans can finally look forward to the arrival of Vegeta, Piccolo, and Bulma to join the fray and it looks like things are about to get even more intense than expected.

According to Comicbook, with the latest preview available online, it looks like Vegeta is preparing to take the fight to the Demon Realm much sooner than anyone expected. And if that’s not enough to get fans excited, a Super Saiyan war is about to break out, one that promises to be unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.

Anyone who has followed Dragon Ball will know that Goku has gone through many transformations, but this is a whole new ball game. The air of the Demon Realm is thick and heavy, making it much harder for Goku to harness his usual strength. This unique environment has created a new level of challenge for our hero, who is no longer the towering powerhouse we know and love. Instead, he is smaller and more vulnerable, taking on enemies he would normally find very easy to handle.

In the grand scope of the Dragon Ball universe, the Demon Realm has been a side story. Previously ruled by the villain Dabura, who played a crucial role in the Buu Saga, it has always been a place full of dark power and twisted history. After Dabura’s death at the hands of Majin Buu, the throne was claimed by the diminutive Gomah, who has a different, perhaps more dangerous, view of the kingdom. Gomah, along with the Kaioshin of the Demon Realm, Degesu, has given birth to a new Namek who has created his own set of Dragon Balls, further complicating the already dangerous situation, Comicbook reports.

Although the Demon Realm didn’t feature prominently in the original Dragon Ball or Dragon Ball Z, it has left its mark on spin-offs like Super Dragon Ball Heroes. In that series, we saw the Time Patrol fight the Demon Realm and its collection of villains that spanned the multiverse. While Super Dragon Ball Heroes is not considered canon, it has certainly expanded the mythos of the Demon Realm, and we may see some of those non-canon characters return in Dragon Ball Daima. Fans are in for a wild ride when the Super Saiyan showdown begins.
