Ananya Panday shares childhood memories with Sara Ali Khan, netizens call her ‘Regina George of Ambani school’

Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday have defied the common stereotype that actresses don’t get along with their strong friendship. While rumors once suggested that the star kids see each other as competitors, their appearance on Karan Johar’s chat show last year revealed their bond. However, Ananya recently shared a surprising anecdote about her school days with Sara, revealing that she was once afraid of her.

Ananya Panday says Sara Ali Khan didn’t even know her name during school days

In an interview clip that surfaced online, Ananya recalled her school days with Sara and explained, “There was always this myth, that Sara Ali Khan… so I actually used to hide from her in school because I used to be terrified. As if it were muhfat anyway, as he now also says. But at school, she was even more like muhfat and used to say anything. Then I used to say ‘she’s going to say something about me’.” Despite this, Ananya clarified that Sara never bullied her but shared a funny memory from her school play. “Sara didn’t even know my name. She would just call me, ‘Yes, girl, come here,’” Ananya laughed.

Internet users’ reaction

This story quickly went viral and sparked mixed reactions among fans. Some criticized Ananya for bringing up old school memories in such a public manner, with one troll commenting: “Believe me guys, Ananya is no better, when she can talk like that about her friend, everyone was immature in their teenage years. “He’s trying too hard to present himself as innocent, but in reality no starkid is innocent, just a PR game.”

On the other hand, some fans took Ananya’s side, with one netizen writing, “So Sara was the Regina George of the Ambani school… I don’t know why people think it’s cool to be bad… And now that same girl is pretending to have feet on the ground. It says a lot about how the audience can be fooled so easily!!”

On the professional front, Ananya is currently enjoying the success of her psychological thriller ‘CTRL’, while Sara is gearing up for her next film, ‘Metro… In Dino’.
