BLOUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WBRC) – A Blountsville man has been found guilty of two charges related to the sexual abuse of a child, according to Deputy District Attorney Scott Gilliland of Alabama’s 41st Judicial Circuit.

Investigators say Jeffery Allen Gable, 54, was found guilty of one count of sexual torture and one count of sexual abuse of a child under 12 years old.

Gable was indicted on these charges in October 2020. The case came to trial on Monday, November 4.

The charges stem from an investigation that began in June 2020. That’s when Blount County authorities received a report that Gable had sexually abused a 3-year-old girl with a sex toy.

The boy was interviewed by authorities at the Blount County Children’s Center. There he described to the authorities what happened to him.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for December 4, 2024.
