Travis Kelce Provides Support to Brother Jason Kelce After Phone Incident

Former NFL All-Pro center Jason Kelce took his podcast – with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce expressing his support for his brother, to once again express his regret for his actions after a viral video captured a “heated moment” between the retired Super Bowl champion and a fan over the weekend at Penn State.

“My reaction gave it the time of day and also brought notoriety to the situation,” Jason Kelce said. “That’s what I regret. It didn’t deserve attention. It’s really stupid.

“And if I keep walking… it’s not a hamburger. Nobody sees it. Now it’s out there and just perpetuating more hate.

“What I regret most is saying that word, to be honest with you. The word he used is fucking ridiculous and takes it to another level. It’s just off the wall and on the line.

“It’s dehumanizing and it bothers me. … Now I know I shouldn’t have done it because now there’s a video of me saying that word, he saying that word, and it’s not good for anyone.”

Travis Kelce intervened in the situation and told Jason Kelce, “I know it weighs on you, bro.”

“You reacted in a way that defended your family, and you may have used some words that you regret using, and that’s a situation that you have to learn from and take ownership of,” Travis Kelce said.

Penn State police previously told CNN that the investigation into this incident is ongoing.
