Grant Moody Secures Victory in Bexar County Precinct 3 Commissioner Race

SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Precinct 3 Commissioner seat is also up for grabs.

Republican incumbent Grant Moody is trying to hold off Democrat Susan Korbel. These are the results so far….

Mariza Mendoza was live from Moody’s viewing party at ‘Bigz Burger Joint’ on UTSA Boulevard.

It’s been a good night for District 3 Commissioner Grant Moody. From the beginning he took the lead over Democratic opponent Susan Korbel.

Very different from 2022, when he won the special election by a narrow margin. This time, Commissioner Moody is quite confident and was able to relax a little more from the beginning.

Precinct 3 has tended to lean more conservative and Commissioner Grant Moody focused his campaign on infrastructure, law enforcement and responsible fiscal management.

“Being a starter and having had the opportunity to show the results we’ve been able to achieve over the last two years really helps in terms of that margin of victory. I think being able to show that we can do the job, show that we can be successful in passing things, show that we’re passionate about solving our constituents’ problems and getting things done, I think that really matters in voters’ minds. “Moody said.

We also spoke with his opponent Susan Korbel, who was at Cowboys Dance Hall at the Democratic watch party.

She says that while this race may be over, she will continue to be out in the community educating people about voting.

“Whether I am a commissioner or not, I will be dedicated to public education about voting,” Korbel said.

Once again, Commissioner Grant Moody declared victory shortly after eight p.m. He will remain a commissioner for Bexar County District 3.

Moody celebrated with his family, friends, staff and fans.
