Kai Cenat just lived every 2000s kid’s dream. The YouTuber joined forces with iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove basically doing their own version of the iCarly webcast via stream, only this time called KaiCarly. The two McDonald’s got their taste tested, including the fast food chain’s new Chicken Big Mac, which eventually became life-sized burgers, Random Dancing, and even some very strange moments like pinata karate, so it’s basically like a normal episode of the Webcast of the Nickelodeon series.

The stream also included the iCarly opening credits, which were completely revamped to fit “KaiCarly,” and it really did it all. Many fans took to the comments of the video to share how much they loved it, with JessAnonymous saying it was “so wholesome and nostalgic.” Miranda is simply adorable. I’m glad Hollywood didn’t change her authenticity and Kai made her feel comfortable. We need to get Miranda back to the main room one of these days.

Cosgrove played Carly Shay on Nickelodeon. iCarly from 2007 to 2012. The series, considered one of the network’s most successful shows, focused on three teenagers who create a web show. Nickelodeon and Paramount+ revived the show in 2021, starring Cosgrove and fellow originals Nathan Kress and Jerry Trainor. The series only lasted three seasons until Paramount+ canceled it in October 2023 in a big cliffhanger that almost reveals Carly and Spencer’s mother.

It is unknown if this could be a regular occurrence on Kai Cenat’s channel or, at least, something that happens from time to time. Cenat is known for having great guests on his channel, even recently featuring John Cena Lil Uzi Vert, among others. Comments aside, it’s clear that fans love that Miranda Cosgrove joined in on the fun, and people probably wouldn’t mind if she stepped back into Carly’s shoes a little more.

Regardless of whether she reprises the role of Carly Shay, whether for a YouTube video/stream or another revival, it’s been nice to see Cosgrove do it as well as ever. iCarly It certainly had a great impact on many children who are now adults, and that impact has not left them. And thanks to Cenat the fans were able to relive that iCarly feeling a little more time.
