A 25-year-old man was arrested in a Detroit suburb for allegedly threatening to kill former President Donald Trump.

According to an affidavit, Isaac Sissel, who does not reside in Michigan, was not going to kill Trump. However, he said that “if he knew someone was going to assassinate Trump, it would be his (Sissel’s) duty not to intervene,” according to the newspaper. New York Post. Sissel stated that he believed there could be violence during the election and that he might join Antifa to protest.

“Sissel also stated that former President Trump was a threat, a ‘piece of s—‘ who should have been killed, and that everything would be better if Trump were dead,” according to the affidavit.

Sissel was unarmed, but when he was arrested, he threatened to use a chemical irritant, according to the affidavit.
