Prince William calls for better support for wildlife conservationists on visit to South Africa | UK News

Prince William has pledged to fight for better support for those who risk their lives to protect the world’s wildlife.

William he was speaking at an event in Cape Town for his organization United for Wildlife, created by the Prince’s charitable foundation in 2014 to help protect endangered species from the illegal wildlife trade.

He added: “We cannot protect our planet without a well-supported workforce.”

It came as he announced a new life insurance policy created by United for Wildlife, the Game Rangers Association of Africa and the Tusk Trust, specifically for game rangers across Africa to give them and their families the assurance that they are protected from the dangerous work they do. .
