MADISONVILLE, Ky. (WFIE) – Madisonville Police say a convicted felon is back in jail after a robbery and drug bust.

Police say just before 9 pm on Monday, they were called to Cross Creek Apartments for a robbery.

According to a release, Quortez Greenwood, 22, assaulted the victim, had a gun and took money before leaving.

Officers say they found him in a neighboring apartment and arrested him.

While searching the apartment, officers say they found a gun, ammunition, suspected percocet laced with fentanyl, and a large amount of cash.

Greenwood is now in prison facing multiple charges.

As we have reported, Greenwood was arrested last year after police said he took a murder weapon from a crime scene.
