Glen Washington performs epic reggae performance in Nakuru during famous festival

Celebrated Jamaican reggae artist Gen Washington performed an epic performance at Nakuru Athletics Club Grounds on Saturday, November 2.

The show, called PERAK Pamoja Festival, was organized by Pubs, Entertainment and the Kof Kenya Restaurant Association to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

As expected, the event was fun-filled with a day packed with activities for families and revelers alike.

Activities ranged from a children’s area, an arts and culture center, photo booths, culinary experiences, a flea market, an exhibition area for different industry leaders and all-day entertainment filled the event.

The night concluded with a variety of top performers, DJs and MCs before Glen Washington took the stage.

Nakuru’s concert was announced as the second biggest show after his performance at the Reggae Unbound concert held at KICC on October 19.

The reggae star’s two concerts (KICC Unbound and PERAK) were a success and Papa Bhingi was honored as an elder in the reggae industry.

The fan, identified as Mike Gathoni, praised Washington and said he was pleased with his performance.

“I’m a reggae fan and this event was nothing but spectacular. Glen still pulled it off. He gave a memorable performance and his Nakuru fans were thrilled. We got more than we bargained for. That’s how true legends do it. Long on “I live, Washington,” the fan said TUKO.co.ke.

Glen Washington attends church in Kenya

On Sunday, October 6, the legendary artist and his beautiful wife attended the JCM church in Nairobi.

Bishop Muthee Kiengei, founder of JCM, invited the Kindness For Weakness hitmaker to his church to perform.

Kiengei revealed that he loves his gospel hit.
