DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC (WCSC) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle crash that killed one person and sent another to the hospital.

Authorities say the crash happened Monday around 8:35 p.m.

A 2006 Honda sedan was heading west on Jedburg Road near McQueen Boulevard when it went off the left side of the road and overturned.

The driver of the vehicle died from his injuries.

There were three passengers in the vehicle, one of whom was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The Dorchester County Coroner has not yet released the victim’s name.
