    Ultimately, it appears Thomas has been forced to make a decision: score against one-on-one coverage while potentially dealing with a second defender on every possession or make plays for his teammates at the expense of his scoring. Making baskets is Thomas’ “superpower,” as head coach Jordi Fernández has repeatedly said, but Thomas understands that playmaking is only part of the game.

    “I mean, they’re open and I’m passing them. At the end of the day, I guess it’s cool. I’m trying to make the right play in the game and make the reads. So that’s it. I don’t really look at any of that. I just I try to play my game and play the right way,” Thomas explained.
