Raipur: Upset over a petty dispute while playing tag with her siblings, including her twin, a nine-year-old girl committed suicide in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, on Saturday.
The victim was one of 12 children and lived in Khamharia, on the outskirts of the city. Four of them were playing carrom when they argued about the game. His twin sister and one brother asked him to leave the game and asked another brother to take his place. ‘
Upset by this, she went crying to see her parents. They didn’t pay much attention to it, thinking it wasn’t serious enough to intervene, police say. She became angry and locked herself in her room.
When she didn’t come out for a long time, family members knocked repeatedly and then broke down the door to find her hanging. She was taken to the hospital where doctors declared her dead.
