NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – With Election Day on the horizon, Lowcountry organizations are working to ensure transportation is not a concern for those heading to the polls.

One of them is the Airport Limousine Taxi Association.

The association has had the help of different transportation companies, churches and community volunteers who will offer free trips to those who want to vote this Tuesday.

The plan for the Transportation to Vote initiative is to serve community members in Charleston, Berkeley and Dorchester counties.

They will come pick people up from home, work, a community center or any other place you may be found and bring them back.

They ask that all passengers schedule theirs before the end of the day Monday.
