Jasper man charged with drug trafficking after authorities found hidden safe filled with methamphetamine

DUBOIS CO., Ind. (WFIE) – An ongoing investigation in Dubois County has led to the arrest of a Jasper man on felony drug charges.

On October 25, the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office and the Jasper Police Department executed a search warrant at a home on Leopold Street.

During a search of the home, deputies say they found a black safe hidden in the ceiling rafters.

According to DCSO, the safe contained five bags of methamphetamine and several items of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies say the methamphetamine weighed a total of 155.4 grams, or approximately 5.5 ounces.

The suspect, Clinton J. Allen, was arrested and booked into jail on $25,000 bail.

He faces charges of trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance – controlled substances and possession of paraphernalia.
