Eagles inactive list for Week 9 game against Jaguars

Another week comes. Hopefully, the result will be another victory. This feels much better than the feeling we had after watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeat our beloved Philadelphia Eagles. The rest week followed. We hear stories of reconnection and refocusing. Here we are riding a three-game winning streak with another winnable game on the schedule.

The Washington Commanders will play the New York Giants today. Birds fans have one eye on that game for obvious reasons. Philadelphia and Washington are trying to keep up with each other.

An early lead in the NFC East standings is up for grabs on a weekly basis. Let’s hope the Jacksonville Jaguars play the role of sacrificial lambs in a day when LeSean McCoy officially enters the Eagles franchise Hall of Fame.

After missing a week of practice, Darius Slay and Dallas Goedert were ruled out for Sunday’s game. That was the biggest news update on Friday. Philadelphia announced the elevation of a fan favorite from the practice squad to the Week 9 issue of the 53-man roster.

The Jags are, shall we say, shorthanded. OL Ezra Cleveland, DT Masson Smith and WR Christian Kirk were ruled out for this week’s game. Seven players received a “questionable” designation: RB Tank Digsby, WR Gabe Davis, RB Travis Etienne, OL Brandon Scherff, WR Brian Thomas, RB Kellan Robinson and d=safety Andrew Wingard.

My God! Talk about injury concerns.

Philadelphia and Jacksonville announced their inactivations for today’s game 90 minutes before kickoff. Here are the rosters for both teams.

The Jaguars are banged up, but plenty of their walking wounded will try. Fasten your seatbelt. This should be fun!
