About cutting off Marcos’s head, another hyperbole

ANOTHER statement at Vice President Sara’s press conference that irked those nitpickers was her mental desire to chop off the head of her estranged political teammate, when the latter embarrassed a PMA graduate at a graduation ceremony by refusing to give the graduating military officer his wristwatch, which he requested as a graduation gift.

Vice President Sara could not bear the humiliation that the young officer felt, a natural reaction of a person who witnessed an offensive gesture perceived as undeserved, and instinctively wanted to cut off the criminal’s head. Once again, it was a hyperbolic reaction: an unrealistic wish made just to squash offensive behavior in his imagination.

An idiotic public official who is a lawyer is considering filing a criminal action against the vice president’s hyperbole, forgetting that even the worst of intentions cannot become a criminal act without an overt act to pursue the intended crime.

Evidently, Vice President Sara recalled a similar situation where former President Duterte, during other PMA graduation rites, took off his wristwatch and gave it to a PMA graduate as a graduation gift.

The comparison between the two presidents was evident and she could not contain her negative reaction in her mind.

Another idiotic, shameful and unintellectual official whose rise to notoriety was due to him calling the Filipino people stupid to show his stupid loyalty to presidential candidate UniTeam and his much-deserved disbarment from the legal profession by the Supreme Court for repeated egregious conduct and unethical, wants Vice President Sara was removed from office for mental incapacity, simply because the latter commented that it is not her fault that Marcos Jr. does not know how to function as president.

This nonentity, appointed to a substandard position, whose appointment was a political arrangement to reward him for his blind loyalty, is so publicity-hungry that he babbles controversial nonsense just to get it in the papers.

There should be a law that puts those who inflict their crazy comments and nonsense on the public behind bars.

Vice President Sara, saying that it is not her fault that Marcos Jr. is not doing well, responded to criticism from Duterte hardliners that if she had run for president (and presumably won the presidency, as they indicated all polls), there would have been no BBM, sitting now as president, was not saying that Marcos Jr. does not know how to be president. It is his Duterte supporters who judge BBM’s unsatisfactory performance as president.

Even assuming you agree with his followers’ assessment, you can’t begrudge them that, since that might be your personal assessment of BBM, having worked with him for three years.

Vice President Sara’s dizzying recovery is just the beginning of more political storms to come. The opposing political fence forces think she is self-destructing; A surprise awaits you.

She has just begun and more fireballs will come that will illuminate the darkened political horizon.
