East Legon crash: Elrad flaunted Jaguar F-Pace Sport’s speed while leading friend’s convoy

Prosecutors rule out details about East Legon accident

New information has come to light about the East Legon accident. Prosecutors alleged that Elrad led a convoy of three SUVs, attempting to demonstrate the speed of his mother’s Jaguar F-Pace Sport.

According to Online Chart, Elrad supposedly I took the Jaguar with a friend to A&C Mall, where two other friends were waiting in separate SUVs. Together, the three vehicles traveled in convoy through East Legon, with Elrad leading the way in his mother’s car.

Appeared in Accra Family and Juvenile Court on November 1, 2024, where pleaded not guilty to all charges. The court sent him to a juvenile correctional facility and ordered him to surrender his U.S. and Ghanaian passports. He is due back in court on November 7, 2024.

About the East Legon accident

On October 12, 2024, Elrad Salifu Amoako attended the visit of Elyon Amoako birthday party at an event center in East Legon. During the event, he allegedly requested the keys to his mother’s Jaguar F-Pace Sport from Linda Bonsu Bempah, Amoako’s personal assistant. She had been holding the keys as part of her duties and handed them to him.

Deputy State Attorney Ebenezer Yaw Acquah later described the accidentnoting that the 16-year-old crashed into the back of an Acura, causing a violent collision. Both vehicles were pushed across the road, hitting a wall in front of the intersection and damaging a EKG pole.

Tragically, both cars caught fire upon impact. While Elrad and his passenger managed to escape, the occupants of the Acura were trapped. Passersby tried to put out the flames with fire extinguishers but were unable to control the fire.

Elrad UGMC Medical Report

YEN.com.gh reported that Dr. Fred Salawu, UGMC Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeon, released the son of Prophet Salifu Amoako, Elrad Salifu. Amoako medical report.

Dr Salawu shared details about Elrad’s injuries and noted that he was not suitable for questioning in the case of his reckless driving that resulted in the death of two 12-year-old girls in East Legon.
