Rick Wright’s Greenville Triumph advanced to the United Soccer League (USL) League One play-off semi-finals after beating One Knoxville 2-1 at home yesterday (Nov. 2).

Goals from Evan Lee and a penalty from Lyam MacKinnon gave Greenville the victory.

Greenville will either travel to Union Omaha or host Richmond next weekend depending on the outcome of today’s quarterfinal game.

Wright, a former Saltus Grammar School student, made appearances for the Bermuda and United States national teams.

He was named Greenville’s head coach at the start of the season, after having served as an assistant coach for several years.
