The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Professional Standards Division released a statement regarding an altercation that took place between police and fans at the Florida-Georgia game Saturday night.

Video shared on social media shows several officers throwing punches at fans in the stands. It’s unclear at this time what led to that use of force by the officers, although it appears to involve some type of dispute in the stands, but here is video of the scene inside EverBank Stadium in Jacksonville:

Within hours of the game ending, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Professional Standards Division issued a statement. The organization says it is “aware of the videos circulating” among the crowd and that “administrative reviews of the incident are being opened.”

The agency says it will not comment further until “all the facts are known” about the matter.

As for the game itself, Georgia won 34-20. The Bulldogs didn’t take their first lead of the game until the second half, but were able to pull away from Florida with a pair of touchdowns in the final minutes of the game.
