DAPHNE, Alabama (WALA) – According to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, a 24-year-old Daphne man admitted possessing child sexual abuse material in an interview that led to him being charged and arrested.

Authorities say a search warrant was executed at the home of 24-year-old Forrest Sanford. Investigators believed Sanford was in possession of child pornography.

BCSO says that during an interview, Sanford said he was in possession of child sexual abuse material and had posed underage children to obtain obscene material for sexual gratification.

Sanford was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography. According to the Baldwin County Jail opinion, he was released Friday on $15,000 bond.
