Former NFL star Jason Kelce was involved in an incident with a Penn State fan who used a gay slur when talking about his brother, Travis, before Saturday’s game against Ohio State.

Footage of the incident shows Kelce walking through a crowd of fans when a voice can be heard using the slur when asking about Travis’ relationship with Taylor Swift, prompting Jason to grab the person’s phone and slam it against the ground. (The video contains offensive language.)

A different angle of the incident shows Kelce appearing to pick up the person’s phone after throwing it to the ground.

Kelce announced earlier in the week that he would attend the Buckeyes-Nittany Lions game at Beaver Stadium. It was his first trip to Happy Valley and he was part of an event that involved College game day.

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have been dating for over a year. He has attended several Kansas City Chiefs games since their relationship began, including Super Bowl 58 in February.

During the offseason, Travis was on stage as part of Swift’s performance during the Eras Tour when she made a stop at Wembley Stadium in London.

Jason announced his retirement from the NFL in March. The 36-year-old played 13 seasons from 2011 to 2023, all with the Philadelphia Eagles.
