A pedestrian is in the hospital after an accident between three cars and one of the drivers fled the scene.

Greater Manchester Police said three vehicles were traveling along Yorkshire Street, Rochdale, at around 23:00 GMT on Friday when the man was hit while trying to cross the road.

The 42-year-old man was seriously injured, police said.

Two men were arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injuries by dangerous driving, while a search is underway for the third getaway driver.
