Well, Owen (Rob Lowe) now has a horse 9-1-1: Lone StarBut as TV Insider’s exclusive preview of the Nov. 4 episode shows, it won’t be easy for him to handle it.

Owen keeps the horse at the stables run by Marlene (animated robyn), Judd’s mother (Jim Parrack) son Wyatt (Jackson Pace). After signing a permit (and with Judd), Marlene begins her training, and begins by showing confidence to the horse. “Just like with people, without trust there can be no relationship,” he explains. “The only way to gain trust is to get your hands dirty, so what I want you to do is clean his helmet.”

She convinces him to approach the horse. Watch the full preview above to see how it goes.

As he struggles to handle his aggressive foster horse, Owen will confront the truth of his brother’s story (Chad Lowe) death.

“Marlene thinks she has a solution to help Owen.” Parrack told us earlier this season during our aftershow, First answerfor the premiere. “Owen decides to adopt a horse and is lost. She steps in as a trainer and agrees to help him be a good horse owner and in much the same way that people have companions on dates, Judd walks them through this series of encounters in which she teaches him about understanding secret of horses and deep knowledge of horses. And he thinks this particular horse knows some details about Owen’s past that might be a little sordid or a little questionable. And Judd is basically like a chaperone at a school dance during this back and forth for a couple of episodes with those two.”

This season so far has been about Owen’s grief over the death of his brother, although as Co-showrunner Rashad Raisani pointed us to Before the premiere, he still “hasn’t fully processed what happened. (Between seasons), a year of his life has passed and he has simply been in this fog, this fog of pain because he lost Gabriel Reyes, with whom he was going to be in-laws. He died suddenly. His brother dies under very, shall we say, suspicious circumstances. And Owen feels tremendous loss and tremendous guilt about it. And we have a lot more that we are going to unravel about what really happened that night.”

Also appearing in this episode, titled “Naked Truth”, the 126th race to save a man crushed under a vending machine. And like Matthew (Julian works) and nancy (Brianna Baker) struggle to delete a nude photo of her accidentally sent to 126, Tommy (gina torres) is concerned that Nancy may be suffering from a possible health problem.
