Fatal Brampton shooting: 2 more charged

Police have charged two more people in connection with a fatal shooting in Brampton in August.

Peel Regional Police were called to a home at Millstone Drive and St. Tropez Court shortly before 1 a.m. for a suspicious vehicle on Aug. 30.

When they arrived, police said they found a man who had been shot inside a vehicle. He was later pronounced dead at the scene. Officials said the victim’s identity has not been released at the family’s request.

In September, Police charged 23-year-old Parmvir Singh with first degree murder.

in a press release issued on saturdayPolice said they charged two more people in connection with the shooting.

Police charged Manvir Khabra, 21, and an 18-year-old man, both from Brampton, with manslaughter. The charges have not been proven in court.

Officers said that since the 18-year-old was a juvenile at the time of the incident, his identity is protected under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

CTV Toronto News video obtained which appears to show the moments before the victim’s death.

In the video, a truck is seen idling on the side of the road and someone is heard demanding to be let into the vehicle. The SUV starts up and shortly after, sounds that sound like gunshots are heard. Four people are seen fleeing the area.
