King Charles shares important plans after dealing another setback to Prince Andrew

King Charles revealed the first big plan for the year 2025 after giving his brother, Prince Andrew, a huge financial setback.

The 75-year-old and his wife Queen Camilla are reportedly set to make a moving visit to Italy, where an early meeting with Pope Francis is also expected.

Almost a week after finishing her 11-day tour of Australia and Samoa, during which Charles also stopped his cancer treatment, the monarch now plans to visit the European state next year.

As reported by Mirror, A source revealed: “The King is raring to go and is incredibly positive about making plans for the future.”

“Although in the early stages, a visit to Italy would provide a fantastic opportunity for the King and Queen to represent the UK and see some of the incredible sites of one of our closest neighbours,” they added.

Another well-informed source revealed that the King was “keen to make up for lost time”, having taken a step back to undergo cancer treatment.

Charles is likely to visit the capital city of Rome and schedule an audience with the Pope at the Vatican.

It is pertinent to note that King Charles and Queen Camilla last visited Italy in 2017, as Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall.

This update comes after a royal writer claimed that King Charles had cut the £1 million “subsistence allowance” Prince Andrew received each year, as their dispute over the royal lodge remains unresolved.

King Charles was diagnosed with a form of cancer earlier this year and has been undergoing treatment ever since.
