LANSING, Kan. (KCTV) – A man previously convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon has now been sentenced for making a criminal threat with a deadly weapon.

The 27-year-old man, Noah Sánchez, was sentenced again this week for carrying a firearm. In December 2023, Sanchez went to a victim’s home and began banging on the door.

Court documents say when the victim refused to open the door for him, he threatened to shoot up her apartment while brandishing a gun.

Sanchez was sentenced to 14 months, a consecutive sentence that will follow his sentence for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The 27-year-old Leavenworth man is also on the Kansas Felon Registry List and was previously convicted of failure to appear.
