HAVELOCK, N.C. (WITN) – An Eastern Carolina man is behind bars after police say they found drugs in his home.

The Havelock Police Department said they began investigating reports of drugs at a home on Woodhaven Drive in Havelock. Police say Keven “Max” Kiraly was identified as a person of interest.

Last Thursday, police say they conducted a probation compliance check at Kiraly’s home because he was on supervised probation. During the search, police say they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Kiraly was charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed on secure bail of $50,000.
