A 77-year-old woman died Thursday after colliding with another vehicle in McLeod County.

A Minnesota State Patrol accident report said the incident occurred around 3:55 p.m. on Minnesota Highway 7 at Vale Avenue near Acoma Township.

There, 77-year-old Audrey Lankey of Hutchinson was traveling east in a 2019 Ford Ecosport when her vehicle collided with a westbound Ford F550.

Lankey died as a result of the accident; The 29-year-old driver of the F550 suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The Minnesota State Patrol said roads were snowy and icy during the crash, but did not say whether that played a role in the incident.
