A former X Factor star has been inundated with support after she made an exciting announcement. Amelia Lily took to social media to share the update with her fans and received support from other celebrities.

The 30-year-old posted alongside a photo of herself showing off an engagement ring: “Mrs. MCQUEEN BE!” The singer who rose to fame on X Factor in 2011 is engaged to Eddie McQueen, son of the late Scottish footballer Gordon McQueen, Eddie proposed to Amelia. The former Celebrity Big Brother star received a flood of congratulations from other celebrities, including Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison, who recently married her long-term partner Ercan Ramadan.

She wrote: “Congratulations beautiful girl.” Amelia’s older brother Lewis Bradley, who came third in the 2007 BBC talent show ‘Any Dream Will Do’ and went on to star in the West End hit ‘Wicked’, was also thrilled with the news. She wrote: “Eeeeeee honey!! So happy for you both! Perfect match.”
