Amid the row over sexist jibe against Shaina NC, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Arvind Sawant said that he has never uttered a single word that violates the dignity of a woman.

In an exclusive interview with India Today, Sawant said, “She (Shaina NC) is defaming me now. I have never uttered a single word that violates the dignity of a woman. Never in my 55 years of political life have I done so. How “Have you noticed after two days? I haven’t written your name anywhere.”

The Shiv Sena (UBT) leader sparked controversy after a video went viral on Friday in which he allegedly refers to Shaina NC as “imported maal”.
