I’ll stick with Disney Plus, Hulu, and Netflix in November, but I’ll skip these services

November turns the corner on fall content with the arrival of new holiday titles, more sports, feature films, and new originals on streaming services. When I say feature films, I mean that you can stream Deadpool and Wolverine and Twisters this month. Will that be enough to lock you up for disney plus What about Peacock subscriptions? I can’t tell, but Hallmark fans (and NFL fans) can enjoy watching Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story when it comes out this season.

In that sense, Netflix will broadcast its big event live on November 15: Mike Tyson’s boxing match against Jake Paul. Viewers will also get more Cobra Kai, Arcane, Outer Banks, and a new animated movie. Bewitched. max is debuting Dune: Prophecy and autumn anime It’s still very entertaining too. Almost all streamers offer Christmas-themed content, but things can get expensive when you’re on a budget and gift priorities this time of year.

That’s why I’d like to share a strategy to keep streaming TV costs down: Churn like ice creamalso known as rotate.

It’s pretty simple. You subscribe for a while, cancel, switch to another service, and then subscribe again, keeping your favorites in rotation. Rotating streaming services can mix things up and save money when netflixDisney Plus, max. and others do not have the content you want to see at a given time. Just remember turn off auto-renewal for your monthly subscriptions. This method may not work if you do not sharing your streaming accountsbut if you can figure it out, try it.

Here are my suggestions for which services to cancel or keep in November, based on what new shows, live events, and movies (I didn’t consider live TV streaming services) coming to each platform. Your tastes may be different, but I urge you to at least consider the concept of rotating to save. Doing it is easier than you think.

You should probably keep these streaming services in November

Hulu: I’m sticking with Hulu for the anime episodes of Dan Da Dan and Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, Part 3. This is also the place to stream season 6 of What We Do in the Shadows, Abbott Elementary, and these new additions :

  • Don’t say anything (November 14)
  • Thelma (November 15)
  • The Honorable Shyne, documentary (November 18)
  • Chinatown interior (November 19)
  • Family Guy Christmas Special (November 25)

Disney Plus: Deadpool & Wolverine is the main reason to have the service this month. The movie arrives on November 12 and you can stream, pause and rewind it as many times as you want. You can also watch the new family movie, An Almost Christmas Story. If you want to cancel (like me) after watching these movies, that may help you save a few bucks.

netflix: I haven’t listed all the titles coming to Netflix this month, so keep an eye on the platform to see what’s next, as well as international content, holiday movies, and documentaries about Elvis Pressley, JonBenét Ramsey, and more.

  • Meet me next Christmas (November 6)
  • Pedro Páramo (November 6)
  • Outer Banks Season 4 Part 2 (November 7)
  • Countdown: Paul vs. Tyson (November 7)
  • Mr. Plankton, romantic comedy K-drama (November 8)
  • Arcane, season 2 (November 9)
  • Emilia Pérez, film starring Karla Sofía Gascón, Zoe Saldaña and Selena Gomez (Nov. 13)
  • Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul live boxing match (November 15)
  • Cobra Kai, season 6, part 2 (November 15)
  • Man On the Inside, starring Ted Danson (November 21)
  • Spellbound, new animated film (November 22)
  • JOY (November 22)
  • The piano lesson (November 22)
  • Our Little Secret, movie with Lindsay Lohan (Nov. 27)
  • The madness (November 28)

Peacock: You can watch election night coverage on November 5 and continue streaming football, Big Ten basketball, and soccer. You’ll have to wait until December 1 to stream the Kansas City Chiefs-themed movie Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story. Here’s a look at the new titles coming to Peacock:

  • The Day of the Jackal (November 14), starring Eddie Redmayne as the Jackal, a hitman tracked down by a British intelligence officer played by Lashana Lynch.
  • Tornadoes (November 15)
  • Making Manson (November 19)
  • Based on a true story, season 2 (November 21)

max.: Penguin’s season finale airs on November 10, but Dune Prophecy premieres on November 17 with the first of six episodes. The Sex Lives of College Girls returns on November 21 with season 3. If you want to watch NBA games, B/R Sports will be streaming live matchups this month. However, if these releases don’t interest you, I suggest skipping Max in November.

main video: Like a dragon: Yakuza will continue until November, but the month also brings Cross to your TV screen on November 14. The new crime drama stars Aldis Hodge as Alex Cross in the latest television adaptation of the character from James Patterson’s book. Other new releases worth mentioning include the anime. Look back (November 7) from Chainsaw Man creator Tatsuki Fujimoto, the movie My Old Ass (November 7), with Maisy Stella and Aubrey Plaza, and Cruel Intentions, season 1, on November 21.

starz: Outlander fans, the show returns with Season 7, Part 2 on November 22. Starz is now $11 a month, so I advise you to keep it only if you want to watch episodes of Outlander every week.

Maybe pause them and wait to binge

Apple TV Plus: November is a good time to have Apple TV Plus if you’re a fan of Shrinking, Bad Sisters (November 13), or Silo, but you can enjoy these shows later. Silo season 2 premieres on November 15 and will air until January.

Paramount Plus: Landman, Taylor Sheridan’s new show, may make Paramount Plus hot when it premieres on November 17. Tulsa King ends on November 17 and you can watch Star Trek: Lower Decks and Lioness. Please do not cancel this service if you are watching these NFL shows or games.

Being patient saves money on streaming

Rotating wisely requires you to wait until most or all episodes of your favorite series are available on a platform, especially if you don’t get FOMO. That way, instead of paying for a service over several months to cover the duration of a six- to 10-week program, you can catch up on everything by subscribing for a month and then repeating the cycle. This works well if you don’t mind being a binge watcher.

For example, fans can enjoy The Penguin on Max or Tulsa King on Paramount Plus. this month. If you wait until January, shows like Landman, Outlander, and Silo will have every episode available to stream, allowing you to pay for a month of a platform instead of several months. Similarly, some of you may want to skip Disney Plus in November and get it in December to watch Deadpool 3, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, and Dream Productions’ Inside Out spinoff. Start watching a series about a month later in the season or wait to enjoy it all in later months.

Think about how much you pay per month for each streaming service you have and do the math. Netflix costs between $7 and $23 (plus additional member fees) and Paramount Plus starts at $8. Apple TV Plus costs $10. Disney Plus costs between $10 and $27, depending on the packages. Max costs between $10 and $21, Hulu is $10 a month, Starz is $11 now, and Peacock has a base rate of $8 monthly. If you decide to rotate, set a calendar reminder to let you know when it’s time to resubscribe or cancel.

Visit us in December for another breakdown of the streaming service.
