Big Brother has announced a turn for its latest nomination processand the housemates must present their choices in front of their co-stars.

Thursday’s episode (October 31) of the ITV reality show saw the remaining 12 housemates split into two groups, and the Halloween special featured teams of vampires and villagers.

When Big Brother laid out the rules, it was confirmed that the losing team would suffer some serious consequences, with It will be better revealer in spin-off show Late and live that the nominations – determined solely by the winning side – would be made face to face.

The announcement was confirmed through official social media channels of the programwhich added that the nominations had already been made and would be portrayed in Friday’s (November 1) episode.

Several fans took to social media to discuss the latest development, with one viewer writing about X/Twitter: “Face to face nominations always increase the tension! Tomorrow’s episode will be wild! #BBUK #BBLL”

A second fan was less receptive to the twist, writing: “Now we have face to face nominations. It feels like they’ve only nominated in the diary room twice, the c4 days never had these twists in the nominations. #BBUK #BigBrotherUK #BBLL #LateAndLive”

“Face to face nominations when only half can nominate isn’t really fair to the people nominating because they will present themselves as revenge targets for the nomination #bbuk #bbll” wrote a third fan.

“OMG, they just announced on Late and Live that the housemates will be voting face to face! This is about to get intense! #BBUK #BBUKDiaryRoom” added a fourth fanwith a fifth comment: “Face to face nominations???? I’ve been WAITING for this!! #BBUK #BBLL”
