WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A 44-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot at an apartment complex in east Wichita.

The Wichita Police Department confirmed that the shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 9200 block of East Harry St.

WPD said the man drove himself to the hospital after being shot in the upper body and is currently in surgery.

WPD said they know who the suspect is, but the person is still at large.
