RENO, Nev. (KOLO) -The Reno Police Department arrested a suspect in a January murder on Thursday.

Police arrested Rafael Contreras-Servín, 43, on charges of open murder, firing a weapon at an occupied structure, destroying or concealing evidence and endangering children.

On January 15, police learned that Adinso DeLeon Garcia, 25, had been missing since January 12. Later on January 15, police found DeLeon Garcia dead in the passenger seat of his vehicle at the corner of East Leonesio Drive and Crystal Lane in Reno. near the Valley of the Sun.

The Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office autopsy showed DeLeon Garcia died in a homicide. Detectives identified Contreras-Servín as a suspect.
