Man allegedly exposed himself to children at York County pool

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – While at a York County pool on Labor Day, police say a Pennsylvania man allegedly exposed himself to several children while following them.

Joseph Yoffee, 44, of Reading, is accused of following numerous boys around the age of 12 with their genitals out of their swimsuits into a pool at Wisehaven Swimming Pool, located at 2989 East Prospect Road, according to County Regional Police. York.

The parents reported Yoffee to the pool owner after their children told them he followed them into the pool, according to a criminal complaint.

Police interviewed the parents and children and told them that Yoffee allegedly became exposed while in the pool and brushed against several girls, police say.

Yoffee faces one felony count of corruption of minors and misdemeanor charges of indecent assault on a person under 13, indecent exposure and open lewdness.

A preliminary hearing has not yet been scheduled.
