ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) – The Owatonna Police Department (OPD) arrested Derek Paul Denelsbeck following a hit-and-run incident that left Taylor Dean Padilla-Ades of Lonsdale, MN dead.

OPD responded to County Road 45 N, where Padilla-Ades had died in a hit-and-run accident.

Later that Wednesday, OPD found the vehicle involved in the accident and arrested its owner, Denelsbeck.

Denelsbeck is currently being held at the Steele County Detention Center and faces charges of criminal vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of an accident.

He is expected to be formally charged on November 1.
