ROCKCASTLE, Ky. (WKYT) – The name of a woman who died in a crash in Rockcastle County has been released.

Sally Broesell, 77, died Wednesday night.

The Rockcastle County Sheriff’s Office says it happened Wednesday night on I-75 North near mile marker 71.

In a statement, Kentucky State Police say Broesell was driving when he lost control of his car.

He crashed into a tractor-trailer and a concrete median.

The sheriff’s office and Kentucky State Police responded to the scene.

Northbound it was closed but has since reopened.
