Blademir Viveros, 27, was arrested Wednesday and charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

On June 20, Mason Stewart, who had just turned 16, was driving a 20005 Toyota Vorolla with his mother, Angela Stewart, 53, and had just walked into traffic. Viveros, a Missouri City police officer, was responding to a call of an armed robbery at an ATM on Cartwright Road.
