A Maharashtra man kills his younger brother with a sickle after a dispute over the electricity bill | Latest news India

A man in Maharashtra’s Palghar has been arrested for murdering his brother after an argument over an electricity bill and a government scheme. The horrific incident of fratricide took place in Sakle Pada village in Palghar district. Satish Jitu Patil, 45, allegedly killed his younger brother, Chandrakant Jitu Patil, 35, after a heated argument, news agency PTI reports.

Utility Bill Dispute

The brothers frequently clashed over the benefits of a government housing scheme and your home’s electricity bill. Their long dispute led to violence on Wednesday.

They had an argument over the same issue on Wednesday during which Satish attacked Chandrakant with a sickle and killed him on the spot, a police officer told PTI.

Satish was immediately arrested by authorities from Satpati police station.

“Repeated disputes over government benefits and household expenses led to this unfortunate incident,” a police officer said.

Chilling murder shakes Jodhpur

Police found Anita’s dismembered body buried behind Gul Mohammad’s residence. Following a tip from Mohammad’s wife, authorities dug a 12-foot-deep pit, which led them to 6 body parts wrapped in plastic bags.

“The police took a bulldozer and dug a 12-foot hole during which the torso, hands and legs of the woman’s body were found wrapped separately in two plastic bags,” the station house officer told India Today. of Sardarpura, Dilip Singh Rathore.

Gul Mohammad is currently missing and police are conducting raids to find and capture him. His wife has been arrested.
