The Tennessee Titans understand the difficulty of the matchup between the New England Patriots

He Tennessee Titans are preparing for a Week 9 matchup against the New England Patriots and the team has been granted a reprieve.

Over the past two weeks, the Titans have faced one of the best teams in the NFL, the Buffalo Bills and the Detroit Lions, but now, the Patriots (2-6) are in their crosshairs.

On paper, it should be an easier challenge for the Titans, but coach Brian Callahan still sees a tough opponent on the other side.

“They are a team that is also a proud organization and they are fighting to try to get some wins.” Callahan said via team reporter Jim Wyatt.. “They’re tough. Everything about their defense, their DNA, it’s New England… They’re a team that’s also hungry. They’re fighting just like us to get in position.”

The Patriots just pulled off a big win against their AFC East rivals, the New York Jets, last week to snap a six-game losing streak. One of the games the Pats lost in that stretch was against the Jets, showing that the team is growing and learning from its mistakes.

He Titans We haven’t shown that growth yet this season. Rather, they continue to make the same mistakes. Tennessee finds ways to start well, but eventually starts to fall apart at some point during the game, usually in the second half.

Meanwhile, the Patriots came back to beat the Jets in the last minute, showing that they don’t give up until the final whistle.

Through seven games this season, the Titans They were tied or ahead at halftime. If they want to win this game against a Patriots team that doesn’t know how to quit, they have to match their toughness and play a full 60 minutes.
