Watch: Yankees fans interfere with Mookie Betts and try to steal the ball from his glove

New York Yankees second baseman Gleyber Torres led off the bottom of the first inning of Game 4 of the World Series on Tuesday night by sending a foul ball down the right field line.

He sent Mookie Betts into the wall where he attempted to catch him with a leap. He did it. But two Yankees fans in the front row weren’t going to let him get away without a fight, as they tried to get the ball out of his glove and get the glove off his hand.

Take a look.

First things first: if you’re a fan, you can’t interfere with a player to that extent. Especially since the ball was still on the field of play and not over the wall or into the stands.

Second, a front-row ticket to a World Series game at Yankee Stadium almost certainly costs more than $1,000 at minimum. These two guys spent that kind of money and didn’t even get to see a full entry before being escorted away for trying to steal a souvenir that shouldn’t have been theirs.
