WWE Raw ratings decline compared to competition from the NFL and World Series

WWE Raw last night had its fifth-lowest viewership on USA Network, compared to an NFL game and the third World Series game.

The show averaged 1.40 million viewers overall and earned a 0.42 rating in 18-49. This was expected to be the least-watched show of the year, but it beat out a September episode with 18-49.

Raw was the highest-rated entertainment program on all of television, outperforming everything not related to the NFL and the World Series by 18-49. The World Series on Fox earned 13.20 million viewers and a 3.10 in 18-49, as well as 429,000/0.11 on Fox Deportes. The game between the New York Giants and the Pittsburgh Steelers earned 7.05 million/1.20 on ABC, 5.61 million/1.95 on ESPN and 682,000/0.22 on ESPN2. Thus, the television totals would be 13.64 million and 3.21 for baseball and 13.34 million and 3.37 for soccer.

Raw ranked fourth on cable behind NFL shows and second in the time slot.

Raw was down eight percent in viewers and 17 percent in 18-49 from last week.

The highest-rated cable entertainment show other than Raw was 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, which scored 682,000/0.11.

Last year’s schedule, which was also against the NFL and the World Series, was the third lowest in history, but that’s because this year didn’t have a third hour to lower the average or else it would have been lower. low. However, due to the changes in the cable, it is still better. Raw was up one percent in viewers year-over-year and down one percent among 18-49 year-olds. But taking into account the homes lost by USA Network, it was up eight percent in viewers and nine percent among 18-49 year-olds.

The two hours were:

  • 8:00 p.m. 1.42 million viewers
  • 9:00 p.m. 1.38 million viewers
