Harris returns to Georgia in the final days of the campaign

ATLANTA, Georgia – In the final weekend of the historic 2024 presidential campaign, Vice President Kamala Harris returns to Atlanta for a final rally in the state that could decide who will occupy the Oval Office for the next four years.

The Harris-Walz campaign has confirmed that the rally will take place on Saturday. No other details have been announced.

Harris’ return to Atlanta comes after former President Donald Trump held a rally Monday night on the Georgia Tech campus.

Georgia is a key battleground state. Both candidates have zigzagged across the Peach State, making several stops, including the CSRA.

Trump and his supporters hope to avoid a repeat of 2020, when the election was decided by just 12,000 votes in Georgia.

Harris, seeking to become the first woman elected to the White House, brought another historic trailblazer to Atlanta last week. Former President Barack Obama appeared with Harris at a campaign rally in DeKalb County, a day after Trump held an event at the Gas South Arena in Duluth.
