Pep Guardiola will be terrified of an Arsenal star after watching Liverpool clash, it was so good

Another Premier League game has come and gone for Arsenal, with the team still firmly in the race for the Premier League title.

The Gunners welcomed Liverpool Emirates Stadium over the weekend in a clash between two potential champions.

Bukayo Saka impressed in Arsenal-Liverpool

Another strong performance was on the cards for Saka over the weekend, who recovered from injury for the team.

His influence was clearly lost in the defeat to Bournemouth and the tough win over Shakhtar Donetsk last week.

However, it only took him a few minutes to show how good he is, turning Andy Robertson inside and out before scoring the first goal.

Saka was a threat throughout as he looked to cause problems, and on one such occasion he cut inside to his left and fired a shot wide.

The 23-year-old’s fitness will be crucial for his next Arsenal career, which includes some important away games.

While that will be a challenge, Saka’s return will signal bad news for his rivals in the Premier League title race, including Manchester City.

Speaking to the media after Manchester City’s victory over Southampton, he said: “I’ll watch it (Arsenal vs Liverpool), I’d rather be first than not (of the league).”

Seeing Saka’s influence will no doubt scare the City manager, who will know that Arsenal remain firmly in the title race.

However, even despite that, he can take some joy in knowing that the teams around him have managed to drop points over the weekend.

It remains to be seen if that gap can be closed, but the Gunners have a much better chance of doing so with Saka in the team.
