Panchkula: A resident of Hisar was allegedly cheated of Rs 2 lakh on the pretext of getting a job DC rates. According to the complainant, Joginder Singh, who currently lives in Amravati Enclave, is doing private work.
“In Rakhigarhi village, Amarjeet Singh, a resident of Jind, told me that if anyone wants to get a job at DC rate in Haryana, he should tell him as he knew many officers and political leaders,” Joginder alleged.
“When I spoke to him about my wife Priyanka, he said it would cost Rs 5 lakh. Out of Rs 5 lakh, you have to pay half the amount in advance. I gave my wife Priyanka’s 10th and 12th DMC papers and Rs 2 lakh cash as advance,” he alleged. tnn

Patel realized the fraud and reported the incident to the cybercrime department, which is now investigating.
