New Roscommon U-20 football manager selected for ratification – GAA

Roscommon GAA has announced the selection of Cian Smith as U-20 football manager for 2025, subject to ratification.

In a statement on their website, Roscommon GAA said:

“The Management Committee of Roscommon GAA has agreed as follows, subject to ratification at the next full meeting of the County Committee.”

“Cian Smith, Boyle has been selected as the new Roscommon GAA U20 football manager for 2025,” the statement said.

Smith will take over from St Aidan’s clubman Noel Dunning, who has been at the helm for the past two seasons and won a Connacht championship earlier this year.

In 2022 and 2023, Smith led his home club, Boyle, to back-to-back county senior finals, losing agonizingly by a point each time.

Smith will be no stranger to the Roscommon minor set-up, having won an All-Ireland minor medal in 2006.
