Russian terror can only be defeated through global unity

He wrote this in a Facebook post, reports Ukrinform.

“Throughout the night and into the morning, Sumy and the region were under Russian attacks, with dozens of ‘Shahed’ drones targeting the area. Ordinary residential buildings were damaged. Our warriors have destroyed more than twenty ‘Shaheds’ in the Sumy region alone, with a total of more than forty attack drones shot down so far. The interception of drones is still ongoing,” the head of state wrote.

“Unfortunately, these strikes have cost the lives of three people in Sumy, including a child. My condolences to the families and loved ones,” Zelensky wrote.

According to him, there are also injured people and everyone will receive the necessary help. All rescue services have been activated.

“This Russian terror can only be defeated through global unity. Air defense and electronic warfare systems. Investments in weapons production in Ukraine. Long-range attacks on Russian military logistics, military airfields and troop bases. All this can provide protection against Russian terror, but it must be enough – enough to make life triumph over Russian aggression,” the president stressed.

As Ukrinform reported, three people, including a child, were killed in Sumy as a result of a drone strike on the night of October 22.
