DONALDSONVILLE, La. (WAFB) – The 23rd Judicial District Court announced the following guilty pleas entered during the week of October 7-11, 2024:

ASCENSION PARIS

1. Henry Delmore, Gonzales, LA, age 40, found guilty of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon (2 counts), Conspiracy to Commit Possession with Intent to Distribute a Scheme I Controlled Dangerous Substances, Conspiracy to Possession to commit with the intent to Distribute a Schedule III controlled dangerous substance, possession or introduction of contraband into a penal institution, illegal possession of stolen firearms, possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance (2 counts) and illegal transportation of weapons/possession of controlled hazardous substances. The defendant was sentenced to 9 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections, with credit for time served.

2. Edward Domangue, Cut Off, LA, age 41, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled dangerous substance, possession with intent to distribute a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance, and possession of a controlled Schedule I dangerous substance. The defendant was sentenced to 18 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections, with credit for time served.

3. Bobby Mason, Donaldsonville, LA, age 43, pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections, with credit for time served.

4. Matthew Thornton, Walker, LA, age 37, pleaded guilty to possession of heroin and possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance. The defendant was sentenced to 24 months in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, after which he was suspended and placed on 36 months of supervised probation.

5. Coty Bergeron, Breaux Bridge, LA, age 33, pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 24 months in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended and on Posted 24 months. months under supervision.

6. Dalvin Farrell, Harvey, LA, age 24, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance, possession of marijuana and first offense DWI. 7. Jessica Hall, St. Amant, LA, age 39, pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 24 months in the Louisiana Department of Corrections, with credit for time served.

8. Howard Jackson, Gonzales, LA, age 39, pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule III controlled dangerous substance and possession of a Schedule IV controlled dangerous substance. Defendant was sentenced to 1 year in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, suspended, and placed on 2 years of supervised probation.

9. Ontario Jones, Gonzales, LA, age 33, pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 36 months in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, suspended and on 24 months of supervised probation.

10. Amanda Lambert, Prairieville, LA, age 38, pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 3 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended and on 3 year of supervised probation.

11. Deirdre Meche, Prairieville, LA, age 45, pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 2 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended and on 2 year of supervised probation.

12. Walter Sanchez, Gonzales, LA, age 44, pleaded guilty to DWI 3rd offense and possession of a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance. The defendant was sentenced to 36 months in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, after which he was suspended and placed on 36 months of supervised probation.

4. Kevin Pintado, Pierre Part, LA, age 46, pleaded guilty to possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to 18 months in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended and on Posted 18 months. months under supervision.

5. Derreil Alexander, Houma, LA, age 45, pleaded guilty to aggravated flight from an officer and was sentenced to 18 months in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, after which he was suspended and placed on probation for 18 was placed under supervision for months.

ST. JAMES PARIS

1. Jolacia Rodrigue, St. James, LA, age 39, pled guilty to 2nd Degree Battery and was sentenced to 5 years in the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended and placed on probation for 3 years under supervision.

The aforementioned case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Bruce Mohon, and the Honorable Judge Keyojuan Turner presided over this case.
